Internet Marketing has many definitions, but the simple answer is that Internet marketing is anything that helps you do business online. This means it includes the following:
- SEO, or Search Engine Optimization
- PPC, or Pay-Per-Click advertising
- Blogging, which serves a few purposes, primarily enhancing SEO
- Social Media, which really just puts your message where the people are
Granted, all of these things require that you have a web site, and if you are a local-oriented business, you should have some Local Internet Marketing!
